A solar street light only works as well as the weakest part in it. The panel has to recover what the light spends overnight, and the battery has to carry the load through a run of cloudy days without being flattened. We size the parts against each other rather than selling them separately.
What we size, and against what
- Battery — LiFePO4 for cycle life and heat tolerance, sized for the hours of light you need per night plus reserve for overcast days.
- Panel — rated to recharge that battery within local daylight hours, not under laboratory conditions.
- Controller — charge profile matched to the battery chemistry, with dusk-to-dawn and dimming behaviour set to your requirement.
- Luminaire — output chosen for the mounting height and the area to be lit.
Replacement batteries for existing lights
If your lights already exist and only the batteries have failed, we build replacements to fit the original housing and connector. That is usually far cheaper than replacing whole units. Send a photo of the old battery and the compartment.
Tell us the mounting height, the hours of light required and the site location, and we will come back with a system specification.

Send us the voltage, capacity, discharge current and the space you have — or a photo of the battery you are replacing. We will come back with a specification and a price.
