Specified against the system, not sold off a shelf
An inverter has to agree with three things at once: the battery voltage and its permitted charge and discharge current, the array's output, and the load it has to carry including surge. Get one of those wrong and the system either underperforms or shuts down under load.
Before quoting we need:
- Battery bank voltage and capacity, existing or planned
- Solar array size, if there is one
- Continuous load and the largest motor or compressor that will start on it
- Whether the system is grid-tied, off-grid or hybrid
Supplied with the battery
Most customers are better served buying the inverter and the battery pack together, matched by us, than sourcing them separately and finding out later that the BMS current limit and the inverter's draw disagree. We are happy to quote either way, but we will tell you where the mismatch risk is.
