Handheld instruments, portable test equipment, medical and measurement devices, and any product that a person carries all day. In this category the physical envelope usually decides the design before anything else does.
Fit first, then capacity
When the compartment is fixed and small, the cell format and arrangement are largely determined for you. That often means ordinary lithium-ion rather than LiFePO4 — the higher energy density is what gets a usable runtime into the space available.
We build the cell block to the envelope, place the leads where the housing expects them, and fit the connector the equipment already uses.
Details that matter on handheld products
- Weight distribution — a pack that makes a handheld tool unbalanced will be disliked however long it lasts.
- Lead exit position — a lead in the wrong place means the cover will not close.
- Protection — equipment that gets dropped needs the pack mechanically supported inside the housing, not just wrapped.
OEM quantities
If you manufacture or import the equipment, we build these in batches with your own labelling. Send one unit or one original pack and we will work from it.
What to send
The device, the voltage, the runtime required, the maximum pack dimensions, and a photo of the original battery and connector.
Send us the voltage, capacity, discharge current and the space you have — or a photo of the battery you are replacing. We will come back with a specification and a price.
