LiFePO4 is the chemistry we reach for whenever a pack has to live outdoors, cycle every day, or sit unattended for long periods. It gives up some energy density compared with ordinary lithium-ion, and gets back cycle life and thermal stability in return.
Where it is the right choice
- Solar lighting and solar storage — daily deep cycling in a hot enclosure is close to the worst case for NMC and close to the best case for LFP.
- Standby and backup power — long periods at rest without the calendar ageing penalty that a full NMC pack suffers.
- Outdoor and rooftop installations — Malaysian ambient temperatures sit well above the 25°C at which cells are rated, and LFP tolerates that far better.
- Anything unattended — the chemistry is more stable under abuse than NMC, which matters when nobody is watching the installation.
What we build
Packs are assembled from 32700 and 32650 cells in the series and parallel arrangement your voltage and current require, with a BMS matched to the load and balancing across the series string. Enclosure options are PVC shrink wrap, plastic case or a metal housing, and the physical layout is built to the space you have rather than to a standard footprint.
Where it is not the right choice
If the pack has to fit a tight compartment in a handheld product, LiFePO4 may simply not get the capacity you need into the volume available. We will say so and propose Li-ion instead — the objective is a pack that works, not a chemistry preference.
Send us the application, the voltage and capacity you need, the current draw and the space available, and we will confirm the configuration before anything is built.
Send us the voltage, capacity, discharge current and the space you have — or a photo of the battery you are replacing. We will come back with a specification and a price.
